david and goliath
Storyboard Text
- David was the youngest of eight brothers. He was a shepherd which mean he sat in a field all day watching sheep eat and sleep.
- one day a man called Samuel was visited by the lord and told that he was to find David and tells him that he would be the future king of Israel. Samuel did as god had told him, found David and told him the news
- the two army's met for war in a dusty valley. king sole and the army of Israelite's were ready for battle, but the philistines had a giant on their side. non of the Israelite's wanted to fight the giant.
- David was told by his father to bring his brothers some food so he did but when he arrived he saw the Israelite's were scared of the giant and David wanted to change that.
- David went to king sole to ask if he could fight the philistines. At first king sole was not convinced and asked David how a young boy like him could beat Goliath but then David said "with gods help i can do anything sir, god will save me from this giant" king sole agreed that David could fight king sole.
- king soles amour was much to big for little David so he said that the only amour he needed was gods. he went and called for Goliath and said he was ready to fight with just his slingshot, when Goliath saw who he was fighting he laughed and said 'do you think you can fight me" at that moment David flung his slingshot right into Goliath head and Goliath died. all the Israelite's were so happy and the philistines ran. David grew up to be the future king.
