Harald gets a boil..

- The year is 1250 AD. Poor Harald here has managed to get himself a nasty boil on his head. Harald is kings guard and can afford to visit the physician.
- Harald has got himself a good physician named Bartholomew , Harald gives Bartholomew a sample of his urine. Bartholomew has determined that he has too much black bile in him and melancholics.
- The next day, Harald is still confused about melancholics and is going to visit the recommended apothecary to find out what he should do about his boil.
- Harald has arrived at the apothecarie . The apothecarie was a cheaper than the physician but Harald didn't like the look of her blood soaked apron. she made him a remedy of crushed worms and herbs to consume
- Alas this failed, he knew had to visit the local barber surgeon. Harald was scared .With no anesthetic, the barber surgeon went in and chopped his boil straight off. Ouch! He's lucky it didn't get infected. It was patched up right away.
- The next week, Harald is back to job and healing up! Harald is free of his boil and will live a healthy life.
