- God is always faithful
- In this time the exile of Babylon was going on. This was the attack of Babylon on the Israelite's. This was caused because the Israel broke the covenant and made a deal with Babylon. This soon turned to disaster after Babylon betrayed Israel and took them down. At this time God also defeats all evil. Some Israelite's were starting to worship another God and there connection with God getting worse. Messages for people of that time-Trust God-Repent and turn back to God-Be present-If you trust God he will trust you and help youThese messages are relevant for us now because we need to live in the present. Do not dwell in the past forget what has happened and live today like it is your first day. If we dwell in the past we will get very sad and our connections with God will get weaker.
