- In Verona Beach, California , there were two feuding families. The Montagues and the Capulets. Romeo was the son of Lady Capulet and Juliet was the daughter of Lady Montague.
- Despite being warned, another fight had erupted between the two families. Officer Prince Esculus had enough and gave a final warning to the families saying there should be no more rival violence ends forth.
- Benvolio gets into a car with Lady and Lord Montague after the shooting and they were searching for Romeo while discussing how Romeo has been acting/ behaving due to Roseline.
- Benvolio and Lady and Lord Montague find Romeo smoking a cigarettes on the beach. His emotions are sad as he is constantly thinking about Rosaline, the woman he currently thinks he is in love with.
- Lady Capulet has decided to throw a party in order to help Juliet find a prince and as a celebration. She tells the Nurse to get the costumes ready while she calls down Juliet.
- After hearing her mother call, Juliet steps out of her room but starts contemplating whether to go downstairs or not as she knows what her mother is going to tell her.
