How a Bill Becomes A law

- Anyone may introduce a bill including the house or the senate!
- The speaker of the house then refers the bill to a committee depending on what the bill consists of.
- Bill then goes to subcommittee to be marked up and thoroughly reviewed.
- The committee debates on if the bill is adequate enough to become law or not.
- The bill is then voted on by the house and if it is passed it goes to the senate!
- If the bills makes it through the house and senate it goes to the President Biden for approval!
- If the president signs it the bill officially becomes a law!
- If he does not, however, the procces is started all over again.
