  • A boy is writing to his favorite author named Mr. Henshaw, he writes to him about his life and what he needs help with at night and in the day.
  • Climax
  • Leigh lunch keeps getting stolen out of his bucket by someone he doesn't know, so Leigh wrote a letter to his author about how he is going to stop people from stealing out of his bucket.
  • Falling Action
  • Leigh makes a burglar alarm that fits his bucket so when someone goes to take his food again the alarm will go off and he can catch the person.
  • Resolution
  • Leigh wakes up in the morning with his mom and they pack his bucket. Then he goes to school and waits to see if it goes off.
  • The bucket alarm never went off during the time in between when he gets there and when he goes to lunch. Leigh goes to lunch and opens his bucket and set the alarm off in front of everyone.
  • Nobody has ever stole anything from Leigh's bucket anymore because they know that his alarm will go off and they don't want to get in trouble for stealing. So know Henry doesn't have to worry about getting stuff stolen.
