Storyboard Text
- Marsha is at the beach, enjoying talking to her online friends.
- Jane approaches and asks if Marsha wants to go for a ride in the country. Jane ignores her and continues talking with her friends online. This happens 3 more times with different people. Jane shuns all three of her friends in favor of her electronic relationships.
- Jane falls and can't get up. She sends a message to one of her online friends and only receives derision. The person doesn't understand that Jane is in serious medical trouble and needs help immediately. With no one around to help, Jane lays in agony for hours until another friend stops be and takes her to the hospital. The moral: Online friends are not really friends, they are acquaintances who may or may not exist in real life.
