Storyboard Text

  • Hellooo, how u there?, do you want to learn about second and third conditional?, Let's go!
  • Conditional are structures in English that establish what will happen if a certain event takes place or id a certain action is performed.
  • The second conditional is used to talk about unreal possibility or impossible events. They establish the course of action that would follow, where something to happen is either hypothetical or surreal.
  • The structure is [If + past tense] , + [would + bare infinitive] or [would + bare infinitive] (no comma) + [if + past tense]For example: If I was rich, I would travel the world.
  • Third conditional talks about the past, unlike the first and second which discusses events in the real or unreal future.
  • These condition, to, are therefore impossible, because they have either already occurred or might have occurred but won't anymore.
  • The structure of the third conditional is [If + past perfect tense] , + [would + present perfect tense] or [would + present perfect tense] (no comma) + [If + past perfect tense]
  • For example: If it had started to rain, the picnic would have been cancelled.
  • So that's it, I hope I have helped you, if you have any questions let me know, until next time! Bye Bye!
