Storyboard Text

  • This is the scene of when Laurence was telling he readers how he has asthma and can't play with his dad and brother, Eddy in the yard.
  • S-s-sorry. he panted
  • That's okay ,he said trying to help.
  • The funniest scene yet is when Eddy finds rat droppings and they realize there is a rat in their store. As the kids father chose to use strength to try and trap the rat.
  • Eddy backed out of it, and for once Laurence felt powerful to be doing something Eddy can't/didn't do.The father then tried to show the kids how to shoot with a gun. Their mother figured it was dangerous but was most likely fearfull to tell him no, So all she said was to not shoot in the house.
  • Laurence was then left alone with his father, while he was taught some rules for shooting at the back door of their apartment. Laurence now feels strong for having the gut to do this, he also feels comfortable being able to have fun with his dad without anything in the way.
  • The father and Laurence used teamwork to move the sofa so the rat hole is now visible to where they can shoot the rat. Laurence is feeling a huge bond now with his father because normally it's always his brother doing activities with his father and not Laurence. Except Laurence is now terrified of the rat and runs away, he feels terrible.
  • Laurence finds time to apologize to his father for being scared and running away when his afther really needed his help. They start talking more about the rat and all the hilarious things that could've happened. While the rat is still in the house, Laurence realizes his father does care about him as much as Eddy. He liked the way his father said our, because it produced a feeling of togetherness.
