Three witch sisters discuss a prophecy, and decide to meet again...
Macbeth - Madness
Macbeth and Banquo encounter the three witches, who fortell that he will be pronounced Thane of Cawdor, and "king thereafter". Banquo is told that he will never be king, yet his descendants will.
Macbeth - Murderer
Macbeth hears the news that the Thane of Cawdor had been murdered for treachery, and is subsequently crowned the new Thane of Cawdor.
Macbeth - Finale
Under the influence of his wife, Macbeth murders King Duncan, one of his best friends, in cold blood to speed along his prophecy of becoming king. As his wife tells him to simply wash the blood off of his, Macbeth begins his descent into madness.
Macbeth, fearing Banquo, decides to assassinate him on the night of their feast. Macbeh continues his descent into madness and later murders Macduff's family, just so that none would stand in line for his inheritance.
Macduff wages war on Macbeth, and finally the tyrant is brought down.
