- Genghis khan was born into the mongols in 1161. the Mongols were a nomadic group of people that lived in the plains of Eurasia. herded goats/sheep
- Genghis khan uniteed the forces of the mongolian empire after he saw a vision of the sky god that told him to "unite all kingdoms under one sword. which started his conquest
- with the forces of the Mongolian empire they conquered all of Eurasia rather quickly, accepting anyone who was willing to help them in their conquest
- under the Mongols the silk road thrived because it had the Mongol's protection
- everything was going well for the Mongols, that although came to an end when the leader Genghis khan died, this led to the creation of four Mongol empires
- the four kingdoms all remained expanding but without their leader after a couple years of expansion the Mongol empire fell.
