  • Major Events of the Revolution December 25, 1776 - George Washington led the Continental Army troops across the Delaware River in a surprise attack against enemy forces in Trenton, New Jersey. The successful ambush allowed them to seize enemy weapons and other items.
  • We will win this war and show Britain who's boss.
  • Major Events of the Revolution October 19, 1781 - The Continental Army led by Washington and their French allies put Yorktown, Virginia under siege, forcing the British troops led by Cornwallis to surrender.
  • All that's left is the Treaty of Paris to officially end this war.
