- Oh, he will never learn
- You know, there is this man named Jesus and he is really famous now. You should go and see him,
- I must see him if he is famous, because that means he must be rich.
- Really?
- Zaccheus, I have come to see you, I would like to come to your house.
- Why Zaccheus?
- He isn't worthy
- He's a sinner
- Talking with Jesus
- Zaccheus, there is something that can give you true happiness, if you come and follow me, you will be eternally rich in heaven
- Okay Lord, I will give back what I have stolen from the poor four times more than I took.
- When Zaccheus was informed that their was a man named Jesus coming to Jerusalem, he wanted to see him. He was still in his selfish estate so I can imagine him wanting to see him about money.
- When Zaccheus was trying to see Jesus, there was a multitude of people that also wanted to see Jesus, so when he went to see him, he was so short that all the other people towered over him. So he decided to climb a sycamore tree. When Jesus came to the tree, he told Zaccheus that he would like to come over to his house and meet him. Zaccheus was delighted by the idea and agreed.
- Zaccheus always felt like he needed more in life. He had all that he wanted, but he still felt that tug for more in life, so when he heard Jesus say he could have eternal happiness, he felt that that was the thing that he was missing. Everything he had only gave him joy for a little while, but he now knew that Jesus could give him everlasting happiness.
