At his home on 190 Howard Ave. Quick, we'll lead you there.
What in the name of Heaven's graces has seemed to trouble you two?
Our friend wants to get married, but he's dying, and we need a priest fast.
Oh, where's your friend?
May the Lord's peace be with you. I'm Father Joe, and I'll be happy to marry you.
We decided we're going to get married in a church, so we changed into these clothes while you two were talking to the priest.
Thirty Minutes Later
Following the Colonel's orders, John and Lorraine run over to the nearby church to find a priest.
Suddenly, Dolly's car stops by the church, and she and the Colonel appear, exclaiming that they wanted to marry at the church
Dearly beloved, we have gathered here to celebrate the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony...I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride.
Thirty minutes pass before Father Joe is ready to start the ceremony.
You're welcome Colonel.
John and Lorraine, I wouldn't be here today without you, and for the help you've given me, I thank you. Always remember me, your good old friend. And take care of the dog that rode with us in the car- I lost Gus and was looking for him. For you Dolly, I give you all of my possessions. Treasure them and always hold onto my memory. I will see you all in Paradise. Goodbye.
Oh, my love!
The Colonel and Dolly walk down the aisle as John and Lorraine watch elated.
Father Joe begins the Marriage Rite and eventually pronounces Dolly and the Colonel husband and wife.
