In this activity, you will create a comic strip that shows a character going through each step of the decision-making process using the DECIDE Model. You will choose one of the scenarios below for the topic of your comic strip. You will be assessed on your ability to apply the DECIDE Model using the self-checklist below the scenarios.

- Hi Becca! Your new puppy, Rosie, is so cute and sweet. Thank you for inviting me over to come meet her.
- I'm so glad you could come over too Ally. I just love Rosie.
- Hey girls! Having fun with Rosie? Wow, it's hot today. You girls want a beer?
- Wow, beer! IDK, I could drink the beer or I could ask for something else instead... I think perhaps maybe I should leave. Is Becca safe?
- Yes, because if we drink beer it could affect our memory, decision-making skills, and coordination.
- If I drink something else, Brody could slip something into my drink? I'm really worried about Becca being here while her brother is drinking.
- Hey Becca, how about we take Rosie for a walk and maybe your parents will be home by the time we get back. If not, we can go to my house?
- That's a great idea! I think my parents should be home soon. I feel so much better. That was scary.
