- That is nothing unique. There are lots of storage management systems.
- We did a large survey and found out that all storage management systems have one problem.

- Reception of goods. Things get lost in reception.

- Delivery man Frank brings in new goods. Warehouse worker Bob receives it...
- ...and signs the truck book.

- Bob takes delivered goods into the storage. He will input the data to ERP system later, when there is time for it.
- Hi, its Joe from Joe's shop. Is my order ready for pickup now?
- A customer calls production manager Jim.
- ??!
- Nope. Actually -- we haven't even started them yet. We are still missing some raw materials.
- Hello Jessica. We should deliver 100 thingies to Joe's shop but there are no No.7 widgets. I ordered more two weeks ago, but haven't got any.
- Jim calls purchasing manager Jessica.
- I know I ordered them from Galveston Widgets and they say they delivered those to use on Monday. Computer does not know anything about them though. There must be something wrong with ERP.
- I will call the Computer guy.
- Hey, this is Jessica. There is something wrong with the Computer again. It will not tell me where Galveston No.7 widgets are.
- Jessica calls the Computer guy.
- OK. I will check it.
- Galveston No.7 widgets? Well, I think we got some just a few days ago. Dunno where they are.
- The Computer guy goes and asks Bob.

- Delivery man Frank brings in new goods. Warehouse worker Bob receives it...
- Bob reads the codes from the package with his phone.
- ... and Jim knows immediately that the widgets have arrived.

- Galveston No.7 widgets have arrived
- Bob takes delivered goods into the storage and Records the storage Place number with his phone.
- And the ERP system knows exactly where they are.
