In 1928 Magnetic Tape was invented.
In 1946, the William's tube was invented.
In the 1956 the hard disk implements rotating platters which stores and retrieves bits of digital information.
In 1966, Dynamic Random Access Memory was created.
Wow! The 5.25 Floppy disk that was invented in 1976 had a storage capacity of 110 kilobytes. Awesome!
Oh my! the new CD and CD Rom that was invented in the 1980's allowed for larger amounts of data to be stored.
In 1994, the flash drive was created and used flash memory to store digital information.
The HD-Dvd is totally rad!!
2003 brought us the amazing Blu-Ray which was the next generation of optical disk format to store high definition video.
Today, we have Cloud Backup Solutions. That was an amazing history of file backup from the early 1920's to the present day.
