  • A special day has come for Bindi, she has been preparing for the vision quest for about a year, her father finally thinks she is ready.
  • Wow. I can't believe this, I will try my best to find my spirit helper.
  • Bindi, as your father I am able to tell you are getting more mature by the day. You are now 14, It is time for you to experience the vision quest.
  • Bindi father leads her to the sweat lodge. The sweat lodge aims to purfiy the body, mind, spirit and heart. This is a very sacred place.
  • This is a sweat lodge, here you can purify your soul to prepare you for the vision quest.
  • After several days of trying to search for Bindis spirit helper by praying, she is hopless... No food, no sleep and little water, she was finding it diffuclt to stay awake.
  • This seems impossible, why can't I envision my spirit helper?
  • As time passed on Bindi finally envisions her spirit helper as a bear.
  • Bindi tells an elder about her vision, he interpurts it and tells Bindi what this all means.
  • Jirra, I have found my spirit gudie, it's a bear. What does it mean?
  • The meaning behind the bear symbolizes courage, physical strength, and leadership. You will be a leader and will always tend to do the right thing, people will follow you and live up to your footprints.
  • The aborginals had a celebration for Bindi's success of the vision quest and her journey to adulthood.
  • We must celebrate Bindi's adulthood!
