- Rainsford swims up to the island and then sees a manshion heada towards and meets zarath a russian millionare and they talked all afternoon and then zarath brought up he was a hunter and that killed a pig with 3 bullets so that was what rainsford woke up from at the boat and then it happend he explained that he has been hunting humans and he was the next prey
