- Out through that window, three years ago to a day, her husband and her two youngbrothers went off for their day's shooting.they were all three engulfed in a treacherous piece of bog.Their bodies were never recovered.
- aunt always thinks that they will come back someday with their dog, and walk in at that window just as they used to do. That iswhy its kept open until dusk.
- Mr. Nuttel is sent off, with letters of introduction from his sister, to the countryside to relax and relieve his nerves.His first stop is where Vera and her aunt live.
- Mr.Nuttel is welcomed inside the house by Vera,Mrs.Suppleton neice,. Vera finds out that Mr.Nuttel knows nothing about Mrs.Suppleton.
- There they're! just in time for tea.
- So vera starts telling him about her aunt,mrs.suppleton tragedy.
- I believe it's because he's afraid of dogs, he told me he had a traumatic experience with them
- why did Mr.nuttel suddenly leave? .
- when Mrs.Suppleton arrives she keeps talking about how her husband and brothers will arrive soon. Mr.Nuttel feels sorry for her.
- Suddenly the husband,the brothers,and even the dog appeared! . seeing them, Mr.Nuttel believed they're ghosts and out of fear he left the house as fast as he could!
- Romance at short notice was vera's specialty.
