- Exposition/Opening
- TIME SAFARI, INC. SAFARIS TO ANY YEAR IN THE PAST. YOU NAME THE ANIMAL. WE TAKE YOU THERE. YOU SHOOT IT.
- I'm ready to kill a dinosaur!
- Inciting Incident
- We're here.
- Rising Action
- I can't do this!
- Roar!
- Then go back to the time machine!
- Eckels arrives at the Time Safari Inc, and notices the sign. He meets Travis who will help him shoot the dinosaur and maybe come back alive. Travis, Eckels, and a few other men hop into the time machine and go back in time.
- Climax
- We got it! Did you just step off the path?!
- Oops... I steeped off the path...
- In the time machine, they travel back before Jesus, before Moses, before the dinosaurs went extinct. Travis explains to Eckels that even killing the tiniest mouse can kill a whole human race.
- Falling Action
- TYME SEFARI, INC. SEFARIS TU ANY YEER EN THE PAST. YU NAIM THE ANIMALL. WEE TAEK YU THAIR. YU SHOOT IT.
- WHAT DID YOU DO?!
- As they are walking through the forest they hear a sound of thunder. The dinosaur. It was as tall as a mountain. It then dawned on Eckels, he couldn't do this. He starts freaking out and Travis tells him to return to the time machine
- Resolution
- NO NO PLEASE NO!!
- They finally destroy the dinosaur. Eckels is so terrified that he accidentally stepped off the path. Little did he know that he stepped on a butterfly, that he latter learned would cost him his life.
- They return to the modern day world and not all of it was the same. Writing has been changed, and the president who was elected wasn't elected, and no one is the same, but they are.
- NOTHING! I SWEAR!
- Travis sees the butterfly on Eckels shoe and is enraged. Eckels begs for forgiveness but Travis shoots him with a sound of thunder.
