Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • I think we should shut off the house because we need to b r e a t h
  • Rising Action
  • Climax
  • This is the exposition because it introduces the characters and setting. it shows that George and Lydia started to get concerned about the nursery and go in to check if anything weird or funny is happening. When they went in they saw a veldt from africa and wonder why their kids are thinking about lions and a scary desert.
  • Falling action
  • This is the rising action because it is leading up to the climax. It shows how after the parents get out of the nursery they become very concerned and think about not just locking up the nursery but the whole house.
  • Resolution
  • This is the climax because the kids come back home and the parents ask about the nursery. The kids pretend to not know about it. The parents get suspicious and tell wendy (the daughter) to look for herself.  Wendy switched the veldt when she went in there and acted like nothing happened. This makes the parents v e r y suspicious and think about shutting the nursery down.
  • Theme
  • This is the falling action because the kids walk back to their rooms, and while they do that the parents shut off the veldt. The kids realize what they do and have a huge tantrum. The kids start yelling insults and even george says "I wIsH yOu wErE dEaD!" little did the parents know...;)
  • This is the conclusion because  the parents open up the nursery for a minute until they shut it off completely. The kids went in, pretended to be in danger, and the parents came to check on them. The kids get the parents in the veldt and lock them in with the lions.
  • The theme is with great power comes great responsibility because when you have lots of power like the kids, you need to know how to handle it and treat it responsibly. when you abuse that power then their will be conciquences
  • if you have something that has lots of power, and abuse it it can go very wrongly
