A String of Destiny by Andrew Pham
This storyboard does not have a description.
Long ago there was a city that was thrown into turbulent days with secret meetings and violent events, the Guardians of the city (lion statues) were afraid that it would break. The Guardians possessed a sphere that when split apart, signified the collapse of the city. Their sphere was cracked which lead the Guardians to become afraid that the city would collapse.
One night the Guardians saw the Old Man of the Moon and begged him for help.
Without a word, the Old man sat before them leafing through his book. After several minutes reviewing his book, the Old Man handed the statues a string of destiny. He then told them "You are to hold this string until it is needed." He then slapped his book closed and walked away.
Receiving no instructions, the guardians assumed that they were to tie it around the city when needed. Night after night they held the string, the crack in the sphere never grew larger. They intended to use the string only in the direst situations.
Unexpectedly, the king relinquished his father and exiled him and his officials. The city went into a state of harmony. The crack slowly was filled with powder of earth and stone. The Guardians still hold the string to this day.
