The story of the native Americans Paleo-Mississipian BY: Dayshuan Ross and Ronald Cowan
The paleo were the first to come into north america and were very nomadic and hunted big animals.
The archaic Indians were also nomadic. They migrated sesasonlly for resources. They lived in a warmer climate than the Paleo, They were also the first to create pottery. lastly the archaic created the atlatl. (the spear repersents the atlatl)
The woodland created the bow & arrow. They also were the first to farm crops. They made pottery more creative, and artistic. The woodland also had religious beliefs. They were less nomadic than the archaic but still moved sometimes. They made their house out of wattle and daub.
The Mississipian were not nomadic at all. They mad very permanent homes. They were mound builders and put the dead in them. They were the highest civilization in Georgia.
the woodland were around when the first Eurpoean explorers came. The Eropeans mistreated them an any of them died of diseases. They hunted small game and continued to farm like the woodland before them
