- Hi. I'm Tim. I lost all money from my stocks. People sold their stocks too fast.
- I'm so glad the government gives me bread, even if I can't collect unemployment because that isn't a thing yet.
- The Great Depression was really hard on Tim. He lost so much money to the stock market crash.
- Thank you for the food, Rob. It means so much that you help me out.
- Good thing that the government had practices in place to help people like Tim.
- I work here now and I am so excited to have money again!
- Thanks to the square deal, Tim was able to get bread for his family, but he had to stand in a super long line to get to it.
- Even though some other people don't have jobs again, I was able to keep mine. My stocks suck, but at least I still have a job.
- Tim had to rely partly on the good of others and partly on the government to feed his family.
- Over the next few years, Tim watched as the unemployment rates lowered and the stock market slowly rose back up.
- The unemployment rates and stock market got bad one last time, but not nearly as bad as the first time. Tim is so grateful!
