- John the Baptist wanted a simple life. He often slept outside and ate locusts. He didn't even have a house. He lived the life of God.
- Pharisees and Sadducees
- What are you sorry for?
- Nothing
- When people heard of John, they came from all over the world to be baptised by him in the River Jordan. People of all ages flooded the surroundings around the River.
- John is shocked to see Jesus
- Jesus the almighty, what are you doing here?Surely I am not worthy enough to baptise you?
- You are John, I need this, I am ready.
- Baptism is like having a bath to clean the inside of your body and prepare yourself for the life of God.
- John Baptises Jesus
- Two men named Pharisees and Sadducees came to John one day and John said "What are you sorry for?" The men replied "Nothing?" So John couldn't baptise them.
- Hurry up!!!
- Later that day, Jesus came to John and wanted to be baptised by John, but John thought he wasn't worthy enough.
- Then John took Jesus to the coast of The River Jordan, took his head and put him in the water, baptising Jesus. John was honoured and The Holy Spirit came down over the river.
