Hey! How's it going? My name is Jeremiah and I want to ask you something. Have you ever tried to limit yourself from using your cellphone or the computer? Do you take a break from all the social media platforms? For me, I did some stuff to minimize my usage time to at least make myself look "responsible."
I don't use my cellphone or the computer when it's past 9 PM. Most of my friends stay up until 4 AM while using their phones.
Staying up late is bad for your health so, we should be responsible in this field. Try putting your phone down earlier than 10 PM. If you keep using it late, it hinders you from sleeping since it delays melatonin production.
Online games are fun. You can play with other people from other countries but, you should always be responsible on what you're doing online. I observe that there's a lot of players who trash talk others and say bad words to each other. That's nowhere near the word "responsible."
It doesn't apply to just online games. You should be responsible on what you're posting in your social media websites. For example, Facebook. Think before you do anything that could possibly harm you in the future. I don't post a lot of pictures on Facebook. I also don't comment to criticize a post because, it could lead to a time-consuming argument.
I'm 18 years old now and I have to be more responsible in dealing with all kinds of media. Cellphone usage is the most common problem that everyone has. It's hard to stop doing what you've been doing ever since the pandemic started but, it's never too late to adjust. It's a step by step process and I believe that you can do it too.
Those are the things that I've been doing personally. I hope this serves as a guide for you on how to start your journey to being a responsible user of media. As I said, it's a step by step process and you will become the responsible user that you want to be. That's all for me folks! This is Jeremiah signing off.
