Storyboard Text

  • Princess Genesis grew up in a castle far, far away. Her parents had never opened the gate holding the whole village in. The King told Genesis that they could never go beyond the walls of the kingdom because his father had a treaty withthe Giants of Carriton Cove, and everything was fine until the giants threw a rock aiming directly at the King's room, nearly killing him as an infant. Ever since that day, the walls were built and no one ever saw beyond those walls.
  • I wonder what all that clamor is past the gate/
  • Oh dear, don't listen to those scary noises, my love.
  • Oh, Bruno. I just want to see what's out there, maybe if I stay up all night, I can come up with a plan
  • Genesis stayed up that night and came up with the best plan. When everyone goes to sleep, there is a 2 minute gap where the guards switch off. That's when she'll make her escape.
  • BARK
  • They showed up to the gate, a door that has never been opened since it was put up. Her whole plan had come to fruition, now she just needed to open the gate.
  • She looked all around her in awe. She cannot believe the "clamor" was in fact the roar of the waterfall. Genesis walked all around what she would call "paradise" and could not wait to go and tell her family about it so they could destroy the walls and be able to roam all this beautiful land.
  • Mom! Dad! There's a whole paradise out there, the giants are gone!!!
  • What???
  • She spent the rest of the morning sharing what she saw. The king shook his head in disbelief, but the queen believed her without a doubt. She decided to go see it for herself
  • And so they decided to tear the walls down, after much relenting from the king. She got to share her discovery and everyone lived happily ever after.
