- Slavery must come to an end!!
- When the slave revolt started in August 1791 and L'Ouverture decided to join to help free his people.
- Yes, I shall lead the slave rebellion, fighting the French and invading Spanish and Britain.
- L'Ouverture was named the governor of the colony of Saint-Dominique in 1796.

- Napoleon and Toussaint agreed on many terms. Haiti becomes independent. But the French invites Toussaint to a meeting. At the meeting Toussaint was tricked and ended up being arrested.

- L'Ouverture was arrested on August 18, 1802 for an autonomist constitution of the colony. The French did not like that he was defending himself and all the other enslaved people.
- What did I do?!I have no fault in anything!
- Even after Toussaint L'Ouverture died he left a lasting impact of the enslaved people and they continue fighting for their freedom.
- We must continue the revolution for Haiti!! It shall not end like this.
