- First, this all started when the French and Indian war ended the British/King George had a lot of debt so, in order to pay the debt they passed the stamp act and tea act.
- The Sons of Liberty

- The effect of this was that the colonist started smuggling tea into the colony at first but, the British had taxed the tea making companies. also tea was really famous back then with people drinking over millions of pounds of tea.
- The Final Struggle
- Next, when the colonist couldn't smuggle anymore the started to boycott by not buying any tea.

- So, the Sons of Liberty formed and they HATED tax collectors, people who sided with the British, and British soldiers. So John Adams would tell the colonist, they would take an illegal action by dumping them in mallias then pour feathers and publicly embarrars you

- After that, they repealed the tea act but the Sons of Liberty kept pushing to make king Gorge give them the right to govern themselves the right to govern had citizens of Boston were starting to work with them even if they were on the British side.
- Lastly, the British finally let the colonist govern and tax themselves. so all was good and the fish in the colonies got killed and had a big feast.
