  • Crossing the Delaware
  • April 19, 1775 The battle of Lexington/ Concord was won by the British though were defeated by "minute men" and forced to retreat back to Boston.
  • Saratoga
  • June 17, 1775, the battle of Bunker Hill the militia had set up just outside of Boston. The British had won due to the militia running out of ammunition.
  • Valley Forge 
  • December 26,1776 Washington had planned on a surprise attack on Hessian Garrison for the day after Christmas.
  • Yorktown
  • "The turning point of the war"This victory had proved to the French that the Americans can win, and they had joined forces.
  • After Washington failed to recapture Philadelphia, he had set up camp for the winter. During this time there where many supply shortages and decease had broke out. 
  • The French had kept the British ships from supplying reinforcements and attacked from the left why Washington attacked from the right this resulted in Cornwallis to surrender.
