Eurydice and Orpheus
Storyboard Text
- Eurydice and Orpheus were getting married. The young couple was super in love when all of a sudden a snake bit her and she died right before Orpheus could get to her
- Orpheus was determine to bring Eurydice back from the Underworld.
- Orpheus made it into the Underworld and he had to convince Hades and Persephone in order to get Eurydice back. He played his instrument as he best knew how and they were taken over by the music. They agreed to bring Eurydice back
- Orpheus was given one instruction by Hades. He instructed him to not look behind him to see if Eurydice was behind him. Orpheus was very tempted to see if she was following and he tried hearing footsteps but couldnt.
- Just when he was about to leave the underworld Orpheus had to look back and he turned around and Eurydice disappears never to be heard or seen off again. He was denied access to the Under world
- Orpheus swore not to love another women again instead he sat and sang songs of lovers. These women's could not bear the taught that he couldnt love so they destroyed orpheus which cause the earth to mourn Orpheus
