- However, the professor Elizabeth Miller, argues:
- Stoker did not know very much about The Impaler when he wrote his novel; also, there was not any reference of Vlad in this age
- We can not be sure about the origin of the vampires; although, we are sure that Stoker did not invent the vampires, because in this age was very famous the monsters in theatrical productions
