- APOLO AND DAFNE
- Apollo leaves the temple of Themis to kill the Python snake, when he meets Eros (cupid), son of Venus (goddess of love) whom he mocks.

- Yes, my power is much greater than yours.
- Cupid, against Apollo's words, shoots a golden arrow straight into his heart. He falls in love with Dafne (a nymph) who was passing by. However, she shot the nymph with a lead arrow so that she would hate Apollo.

- Dafne my nymph, I LOVE you

- Apollo chases Dafne through the forest, while she desperately flees until she reaches her father, the river, to ask for help.
