- 10 year-old Ayesha has been living in the bomb out city of Beirut with her granny and her two younger brothers.Her mum died when a shell / bomb fell on there house,and her dad is abroad trying to find work.
- Latif one of her brothers found them self a flat and that is where the meet Mrs Zainab and her daughter Samar.Samar is deaf and at first Ayesha thought that she was a bit scared of her but then they became the best of fiends.
- "The girl is from the other side,she could be a spy !
- " ARE YOU ANIMALS ?!? let the child go!
- Granny gets very sick and is about to die,Ayesha is scared she will someone she loved once again.So she decided to go to Dr Leila to get Granny some more medicine ... only DR Leila lives on the other side of the green line.
- Ayesha cross the invisible green line where the gun man from her side stood guard.,Even tho she knew that they where there to protect her she still felt scared.
- She was caught by the men on the other side but luckily Abu Boutras one of the last people living in no mans land came to her rescue.So her quest to find DR Leila continues.
- Ayesha finds DR Leila and gets the medicen to save granny but to Ayesha's horrer DR Leila i going to France and wont be coming back till the war is over .
