  • Each of these people represents a phase of the mitosis cycle
  • This is prophase, during this phase the nucleus’s membrane dissolves and spindol fibers form.
  • this is metaphase, in this phase the chromosomes line up at the center and spindol fibers attach to the chromosomes.
  • This stage is anaphase , in this phase the spindol fibers pull chromosomes away from each other splitting them in half.
  • This phase is called telophase, in this phase the chromosomes settle, the nuclear membrane forms again and the spindol fibers retreat.
  • This stage is called cytokinisis which is paired with telophase. this stage is when the cell splits into two congruent new cells.
