- Hey mum. I'm studying binary so I can win the tech fair at school! I have to build a coding system for a computer. The winner gets to meet the creators of technerd.com! They're like... the coolest !
- Thats wonderful honey! But what's binary and what does it have to do with robots?
- Binary is nothing but 0's and 1's. Computers operate in binary, meaning they store data and perform calculations. One bit contains a single binary value, either a 0 or a 1.
- Binary is important because they can only read and store an on or off charge. 0 is equivalent to off and 1 is equivalent to on.
- Wow, seems like you really know what you're doing! Well good luck then, you're going to win for sure honey! I'm off to bed, come up when you're finished.
