Photosynthesis have two reactants, and that is Carbon Dioxide, and water. I live in plants and make food. I also make glucose and oxygen.
I'm SO hungry! Oh I have an idea, let's go make some photosynthesis.
In order to accomplish the things needed to go photosynthesis, take the "Light Reactions" steps.
Well, we are gonna need, Sunlight, Carbon Dioxide, and Water.
The sun hits the plant and gives off energy to the electrons and gets them excited and it transfers energy to become kinetic. This is called the electron transfer chain.
There are two types of Light Reactions, there is Light Independent (which is also known as the "Calvin Cycle" ) and Light Dependent.
First and foremost, we need the Carbon Dioxide, now we can see it, but I'm sure its here.
The Calvin Cycle (light independent) uses carbon dioxide molecules that are needed to produce glucose. ATP and NADPH give energy for these reactions to occur.
Now lets add some water !
In Light-Dependent Reactions light energy is used to convert ADP to ATP and NADPH to NADPH. During this process, water is split apart to allow electrons to become available to produce Oxygen and Hydrogen Ions.
Okay finally, we need some help from the sun!
Now, with it all together, we just made photosynthesis!!
