- Most tropical rainforests are located in Central and South America.
- Organisms in the tropical rainforest include mountain gorillas, okapis, blue morpho butterflies, brown-throated three-toed sloths, jaguars, monkeys, and water lilies.
- The banana gives energy to the monkey and the monkey gives the jaguar energy. The banana tree gives energy to the howler monkey and the howler monkey gives energy to the caiman.
- If the banana tree was removed from the food web then the monkey wouldn't have food and would die, so all the other animals would die.
- The monkey receives the most amount of energy from the plant and the jaguar receives the least amount of energy from the monkey.
