Tituba was pressured by Hale and Parris to confess. She was being accused of witchcraft and was also being threatened by others.
The main conflict on this act is the use of witchcraft and the lies that some characters tell. This story is Man vs Supernatural force, because the characters are facing a force that they can not control, being the devil himself or evil. The story is external conflict but we can also see examples of internal conflict too. Parris is dealing with a problem he cannot control.
