- Hari Singh slid his hand under the mattress,reaching for the notes.Finding them he quickly crawl out of the room
- He thought about Anil's face when he would find out about the theft which would only show sadness.Not because of the money but for the loss of trust.
- Hari Singh decides to get back to Anil. Because he wanted to be a man ,a clever and respected man .He was sure that Anil would help him to read and write.
- He woke up next morning to find that Anil had already made the tea for him.Hari Singh got worried for a second thinking that Anil found out, seeing the note between his fingers.
- Hari got to know that Anil had come to know about his misdeed but there was no sadness, anger or guilt in his mind.
