An output is any device used to output information from a computer or other electrical devices.
Why do we need them though?
Well, we need them for many things. You can use speakers which is an example of an output device to hear output audio.
Well,there are two hard and soft copy.some harcopy examples are: speakers,TFT monitors,multimedia projectors and printers. We use it because its a permanent copy of data in a physical form.
Can i get some examples?
Some examples are: the CRT monitor,flat-panel monitor and speech output.we use them so it can be saved on the computer and be later viewed.
