- Ahmed thought is was too high for him so he went to look for another coconut. so he found another palm tree with one coconut that looks shorter than the other one 10-ft high and his angle to the palm tree is 50°. So he uses trig to figure out how faraway he is. He finds out that cos(50) = 10/X. X=10/cos(50) = 15.6 ft away
- Hi i'm Ahmed and i've been in this island for 3 days and i haven't eaten anything yet so come with me and lets look for food.
- Ahmed was hungry and he saw a coconut on top of a palm tree. Ahmed is standing 20 feet away looking at the tree at an angle of 58. He wonders how high up the coconut is. So he uses trig.He finds out that sin(58) = X/20

- He finds out that sin(58)=X/20 = 16.9So the cocconut is 16.9 feet high which is too high for him.

- Ahmed could not reach the last coconut so he found a shorter palm tree and the palm tree was 9 ft long and he was standing 13 ft away but he does not know the angle so he uses trig. because ahmed doesnt know the angle so he uses inverse tan so his answer would be tan-1 =9/13 which equals to 34.6
