- Hey, how has everything been going lately?
- Good, the weather has been kind of a bummer lately though, especially this morning with the heavy rain..
- Oh my goodness, I just got a notification from the national weather service and it says a flash flood warning!
- MOM AND DAD LOOK!!! THE BASEMENT IS FLOODING!!!
- Okay son, I will be right there remember I work as a Emergency Management Specialist, so I know what to do
- Everything will be okay.. stay calm everyone. Lets first move the seat upstairs and then I will move the tv upstairs. Next, I will turn off the electricity and we will move to higher ground. We must check our phones to see if they need us to evacuate and then we will take the next steps.
- I feel much calmer now that we are in a better place.
- Okay, now we must wait for further instructions from the national weather service. It is best that we stay calm.
