- Don't worry Amy, I did. What are the types of skin cancer?
- Well, the first type is Basal Cell Carcinoma. They are light pink bumps, and are not fatal.
- That's very interesting.
- The next type is Squamous Cell Carcinoma. They are red splotches and if not treated, can be fatal.
- Fascinating. Let's go back to the beach house.
- The last type is Melanoma. You can get it as young as 12 years old and it is the deadliest type.
- That's scary. What are some of the risk factors for skin cancer?
- One risk factor is having a light complexion and blonde or red hair.
- Interesting.
- Another risk factor is having more than 50 moles or one or more atypical mole.
- Let's get something to eat.
