- Its just not fair! why does it have to happen to me in my town.
- Maddy's best friend Laura and her have entered their school end of year talent show to sing. They practice every day at Maddy's house so they can become perfect.

- YEAH! no aftershocks here.

- One night when Maddy and the rest of Christchurch were sleeping a massive earthquake hit. The earthquake was a massive 7.1 and hit at 4:35 AM and came out of nowhere.
- Tell me more, tell me more.
- After the big earthquake you could not go anywhere without there being a big aftershock. School was closed for all kids close by. The earthquake was so big nobody had water or power, so that meant they had go toilet in a hole in the ground.

- During the earthquake Maddys best friend Laura's house gets so damages they have to move away. Laura moved to Timaru and was having a perfect time with no aftershocks.
- Maddy has to go to a new school but sadly the mean girl Zoe has gone to the same school as Maddy. Since Laura has gone for the talent show Maddy has to sing with Zoe.

- Laura comes back to Christchurch for a day to play with Maddy. together they watch their favorite movie 'glee', made cupcakes and played at the park. There are still a lot of aftershocks.
