After the 95 theses was nailed, society started agreeing with Luther and his teachings and reforms which created a movement and new religion.
In 1521, Pope Leo X excommunicated Luther from the church. He thought Luther's theses were heretical and didn't agree with Luther's protest against the practices of the church.
The bible was written in Latin and after Luther was excommunicated from the church he translated the new testament in the bible from Latin to German, therefore people could understand it and spread the word of God.
