- Sir Alex Ferguson was born on December 31st, 1941 in Glasgow, Scotland.
- Ferguson signed his first Professional contract for St Johnstone in 1960 and then went to sign for Dunfermline Athletic in 1964

- 2 years later, it was Ferguson's biggest game of his life. The 1969 Scottish Cup Final. It was played between Rangers FC and Celtic FC. Ferguson was blamed for a goal conceded in the game, which then led to the Rangers, to lose the match.
- Ferguson then got demoted to the junior team because of his performance and he got very angry.
- It was then Sir Alex started his Managerial career, at East Stirlingshire
- After having successful spells at St Mirren FC and Aberdeen, he then got hired by Manchester United FC
