  • In 1967, Sir Alex was playing for the Rangers on a record-breaking transfer fee of £65,000
  • From Zero TO Hero
  • Sir Alex Ferguson was born on December 31st, 1941 in Glasgow, Scotland.
  • Ferguson signed his first Professional contract for St Johnstone in 1960 and then went to sign for Dunfermline Athletic in 1964

  • 2 years later, it was Ferguson's biggest game of his life. The 1969 Scottish Cup Final. It was played between Rangers FC and Celtic FC. Ferguson was blamed for a goal conceded in the game, which then led to the Rangers, to lose the match.
  • Ferguson then got demoted to the junior team because of his performance and he got very angry.
  • It was then Sir Alex started his Managerial career, at East Stirlingshire
  • After having successful spells at St Mirren FC and Aberdeen, he then got hired by Manchester United FC
  • Manchester United was formed in 1878 by the Carriage and Wagon Department of Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. It was named Newton Heath LYR FC

  • It was then at that moment, Sir Alex Ferguson, started his incredible reign as Manchester United Manager
