- This frog, Mr. Herbert, needs to get to the lily pad that is 4ft away from him, but there is a branch right above the lily the and he is looking at the branch from a 37 degree angle he uses trig to find the height of the branch so he doesn'tjump that high and gets tan(37)=x/4 x=0.19ft
- Now, Mr. Herbert is just chilling on the lily pad.
- While Mr. Herbert was chilling on his lily pad a crocodile opened his month at a 27 degree angle and asked how wide he was able to open his month if he knew the adjacent was 4ft long because his mouth was shaped like a triangle. Mr. Herbert used trig to help him and got tan27=x/4 x=0.13
- Then Mr. Herberts friend ask if he can help him find the angle in between his toes to help him decide which flip flops to get, if one of his toes is 8 centimeters long and they are 6 centimeters apart. Mr. Herbert uses inverse trig to help his friend find the angle between his toes and gets tan-1(8/6)=53.1 degrees
- Now Mr. Herbert can just chill on his lily pad hoping no one will ask him to measure his toes again
