The Incan Empire started in the Andes Mountains, then spread to the Valley of Cuzco, their capital. The ruler of the Incan Empire had to be a descendent of the sun god.

The Incans followed a polytheistic religion. They believed in sacrifice and that everything in nature has a god.
INCAN ACHEIVEMENTS
In the Incan Empire, the Emperor was at the top, then the nobles and everyone related to them, and lastly the commoners. All of the commoners were either farmers, artisans, merchants, or slaves.
FALL OF THE INCAN EMPIRE
The Incas had a socialist government. This meant that the ruler had power over everyone and everything, including land, money, and people.
The Incans made rope bridges and roads. They also did terrace farming, had an effective government, and did brain surgery.
Huayna Capac was given a present which had butterflies in it. At the time, butterflies were a bad omen. A couple of weeks later, Huayna Capac got smallpox and died. His two sons fought over power, causing a civil war. Finally the Spanish took over.
